On the evening of 18^th October, an enthusiastic audience was treated to a wonderful concert in Holy Trinity Church, packed-full of very talented artistes and musicians. The aim in staging it was “to reflect on the world we live in and the one we want to create.” FEVER, the opening number sung by Janie Dee, referenced the increasing temperatures from Climate Change. Another song ‘Ebb and Flow’ written and performed by Three’s Company, focused on the importance of water in our world.

The acts were interspersed by short addresses from some of our local environmental and wildlife groups – Stratford Climate Action speaker – Janet Palmer, Net Zero Stratford speaker – Janet Palmer, Heart of England Forest speaker – Ian Nutt, River Hope speaker – Mary Manandhar and SWAN For Wildlife speaker – Rosemary Collier.

The concert was organised by Janie Dee and the London Climate Change Festival.

It was thought-provoking, entertaining but also an uplifting evening, knowing there are people who care passionately about our world.
