Feldons Wildlife Group
A friendly group based in Cherington and Stourton, open to all ages and anyone interested in wildlife.
Meetings take place on the last Tuesday of every month (except August and December), coordinating and conferring on activities and projects and ways that we can learn, enhance and protect the countryside.
Activities to date include hedgerow surveys; common area planting for pollinators; assisting toad and frog migration registered with Froglife; the annual RSPB garden bird watch with a village record maintained; exploring the Cotswold Distillery’s wetland and future plans; testing river water quality as part of a central England monitoring project; guided learning about Swifts and village flora; moth trapping and identification from local experts.
The regular meetings take place in the Cart Shed at the Hall, Stourton, CV36 5HG at 7.00 pm. All welcome, no need to book, just come along and say ‘hello’.
